Argonaut Pumps are UK made by Plastica. These are domestic swimming pool pumps that come in standard sizes. The Plastica Argonaut pumps are available in single and 3 phase and is suitable for 1 1/2" 50mm and 63mm 2" fittings.

The Argonaut pump has great features including a large 1.75 litre strainer basket, quieter running with a  60db motor and high grade stainless steel motor shaft.

Athena Sun Domes are a solar heating system that will heat your pool and save you a small fortune in heating costs. These heaters can be installed on above ground and inground pools as a single heating source or to supplement a current heating system. The Athena Solar Heating Pods are especially effective on above ground pools such as our wooden and doughboy pools and summer pools such as Intex and Bestway. Each Dome will heat up to 7,500lt of water. If you require more than two it is more effective to install in lines of two. For more information call us on 01322554870

Just use the sizing chart below to chose the right number of domes for your pool, if you opt for more than the required amount you will see a significant difference in pool temperature. Each Athena Dome will heat up to 7,500lt, this compared to just 4,500lts with the solar pods.

Heating calculations are based on continuous sun exposure for 10 hours, which should increase the water temperature, by the following:

One heater for 2,000lt +4c, 4,000lt +2.4c, 7,500lt +1.3c

Two heaters for 2,000lt +6c, 4,000lt +3.6c, 7,500lt +2.5c, 10,000lt +1.8c

Three heaters for 4,000lt +5.4c, 7,500lt +3.6c, 10,000lt +2.7c, 15,000lt +1.7c

Four heaters for 7,500lt +4.4c, 10,000lt +4.1c, 15,000lt +2.3c

The more domes you add the more heat you will produce, adding one or two more can make a significant difference to your water tempreture.

Replacement Boulder Tiled Pattern Overlap Liners by Swimline are 16 thou on the floor & walls, to ensure a professional installation only install the liner on a warm and dry day as these are stretched into place to prevent creases. These liners are suitable for 48” and 52” wall heights and due to the nature of this product these are non-returnable so please be sure you have measured your pool correctly before placing an order.

The Overlap liner is probably the least expensive liner you can buy on the market but if installed correctly can look as good as any other, please ensure all preparation works are carried out to manufactures guidelines as any imperfections will be shown once you start filling with water. Here are a few liner installation guidelines that we would strongly suggest following 

Liner Installation Instructions

Install day must be a warm sunny day to replace your liner with very little wind, the hotter it is the easier the installation will be.

Leave your new liner in a conservatory or in a very warm spot to get the boxed liner as warm as possible before unpacking. This will ensure flexibility in the liner when it comes to install day

Prepare your pool Base very carefully, sweeping the pool floor to remove all loose debris and sharp object which may push through. Always form a cove or install your Easy Cove at the bottom of the pool wall. The coving is a vital part in ensuring a lock is formed at the bottom of your pool. An inadequate cove will result in liner pushing underneath the wall causing the liner to fail.

Install your pool floor felt and foam walls if you have chosen that optional extra, the floor felt will protect your liner from abrasive damage from the floor of your pool, and give a soft feel underfoot. It will also soften any sudden impact with the pool floor.

When overlapping your liner be careful not to drag it over any sharp edges to puncture the liner and make sure the overlap is even all the way round. Once you have overlapped it so much aim to have the liner 3” to 6” off the ground before filling and clamp down with heavy duty pegs. 

Start filling the pool, at this stage there should be 1 person inside the pool trying to move out any excess liner material to the edges and ensuring they control the helpers outside the pool to release or hold the liner as necessary.

Whilst filling do not be tempted to drop to much liner in at once as creases will not be able to be pulled out due to the weight of the water. Drop liner in small and even quantities until water level has reached pools walls, at this stage you should not have to drop any more liner in.

These replacement overlap swimming pool Liners are suitable for all sizes of the following pools:
Doughboy, Vouge, Teakwood Discovery, Equinox , Regatta & Regatta II, Topaz, Reprieve, Oracle, Trevi 205, Summer Days.

These liners have a material thickness of:
Wall - 16 thou thick Virgin Vinyl and Floor - 16 thou thick Virgin Vinyl
This liner fitting is a 2 to 4 man job - please do not try this with 1 person.

Please note that all warranty claims on liners are only valid if any fault is found on a manufactured seam. All the liners are reverse inflated when manufactured to ensure water tightness, so no warranty can be accepted for holed liners.

Installing the Thermalux 6mm Foam Commercial Swimming pool cover has huge benefits to running cost such as water treatment costs by reduce humidity and condensation saving even more money by reducing the time that your Dehumidification Equipment needs to run in the pool building.

Certikin foam heat retention covers are manufactured from close cell PE foam which is supplied exclusively to Certikin in the UK. Our 6mm Thermalux is suitable for all heat retention purposes and benefits from a clear laminated underside and a strong woven polyethylene top coat making it extremely hard wearing. The desity of the material helps to keep light penetration to a minimum and therefore reduce algae growth. Suitable for swimming pools running up to 30degC. Due to the nature of this material and the manufacturing process some creasing of the top coat can be present and the cover may not lie perfectly flat - covers are rolled, not folded, for dispatch in order to eliminate these issues where possible. Unless requested at the time of order, all 6mm covers will be made approximately 30mm narrower than the pool width.

Certikin Maple Debris Cover is a high quality Winter Debris Covers manufactured to the highest standards. The cover has reinforced corners and comes with stainless stell fixings.

The Certikin Winter Debris Cover is available in four colours, Grey, Green, Tan and Blue. We have quoted standard sizes but can have this cover made to fit all size swimming pools.

A 300mm overlap is added to the cover and below sizes are pool size not cover size so the cover will come a full 300mm around the full perimeter of the swimming pool.

The Certikin Quick Change underwater light is a versitile light designed for quick installation that requires no screws, nut or bolts tpo hold the light in place. The light kit comes with transformer and deck box and is available for liner or concrete swimming pools. The certikin light is held in stock and available for quick delivery

The Lamp holder of the new Certikin Quick Change light has no screws, nuts or bolts and is held in place with a threaded ring on a new purpose-made gasket. This means no tools are needed to change the bulb, thus reducing the bulb changing time.

The niche is now smaller in diameter and has an opional vertical and horizontal cable exit allowing greater flexibility of installation. The unit has been designed for use with the standard PU8 sealed beambulb and certikins PU11s Transformer.

The niche can be fitted with a puddle flange for concrete swimming pools, has a lower front edge to aid in gunite installations and has an ajustable front cover ring to allow variance in tilling and screeding depths.

The Liner version comes with longer 2" screws to suit different panel and one-piece pool thicknesses.

Finally, an opional 316 stainless steel fascia ring is available to enhance the finish for any swimming pool

OC-1 filter media is a new and innovative alternative to sand or glass media. OC-1 media captures 20 times more dirt and debris than traditional filter media such as glass or sand. It is also lightweight, meaning it is easy to use.

OC-1 filtration media is UK made and completely changes the way you should filter your pool. it has been proven retain debris without increasing filter pressure or reducing the flow rate. Debris capacity of OC-1 is more than 20 times that of sand or glass. OC-1 removes 81% of 10 micron particles in a single pass and can even remove particles as small as 1 micron without flocculation or coagulation.

Unlike sand or glass, OC-1 is lightweight, easy to handle and transport. 

Reduces pool running costs

OC-1 can reduce energy usage and water consumption. Its open cell formation makes it possible to achieve a greater flow of water through the filter. In many cases this means that pump speeds can be reduced by around 20%, without compromising the original flow, producing impressive energy savings. Alternatively, on new installations a smaller pump can be specified to produce the same flow – saving running costs and initial outlay.
