Swimming Pool Leading Edge in stylish black with combined strap set in black,  Both from UK supplier Plastica. The leading edge is attached to a solar cover and allows one person to pull the solar cover easily off the reel system and onto the pool. The domestic premium leading edge is manufactured from polyester netting and coated with PVC for extra strength and durability the leading edge can be installed easily on a new or existing swimming pool solar cover. Polyethylene foam inserts provide the necessary buoyancy.

The Black Leading Edge comes complete with all necessary fixings and pulling cord.

The Black Leading Edge comes in two options, the DIY can be fitted to new covers or existing covers by the customer. The factory fitted option is available when customer order the solar cover at the same time. This is then attached to the solar cover at the UK factory. Having it factory fitted is a especially useful when the solar cover has a roman end which is not as straight forward to attach as a standard rectangle cover. Aquamini Mini Heat Pumps are designed especially for above ground pools. They come with a 3-Pin UK plug and offer a COP between 5 and 5.8. They come in three sizes an Aquamini 3.5kw which is suitable for smaller pools upto maximum of 12 cubic meters, an Aquamini 5.6kw heat pump which is ideal for pools 12 to 15 cubic meters and an Aquamini 7.2kw which is suitable for pools upto 20 cubic meters. If you want an extended summer season using a heat pump you should increase the size of the heat pump as much as possible. So for a 12cubic meter pool the 5.6kw or 7.2kw would work better if you wanted to heat the pool from may - sep, but of course this is dependant on the ambient air temperature.

32mm and 38mm connections so suitable for intex and bestway pools. We have adaptor kits available if you have larger intex pools with cuff screw fixings

To get the best performance from your Heat Pump we recommend using the best possible solar cover you can afford and leaving it on whenever someone is not in the pool. Having the solar cover in place during the day can increase pool water temperature, in conjunction with the Aquamini Heat Pump by up to 8°C, and at night just having the solar cover on the pool can reduce heat loss by up to 3°C per night.
