Solvent cleaner is used for the removal of grease and oily deposits on the surfaces of pipe, pipe fittings.
PVC / ABS Pipe cleaner is a special blend of solvents formulated to clean all PVC and ABS pipework prior to cement welding or glueing together. This PVC / ABS Pipe cleaner will effectively removes unwanted oils, dirt and grease. It is essential that all joins are cleaned before applying cement/ glue to prevent the join from leaks.
Application is very simple, use a clean cloth/rag and gently submerse into the solvent and then gently wipe foreign matter away for a nice smooth finish of preparation of cementing the join together.
Note,
When making a threaded piece of pipe air tight/water tight you do not need pipe cleaner or cement, this would be bounded with simply adding PTFE Tape (please see related products below)

Our Opinion
The main advantages of a Flotide heat pump are the long term savings, these will only increase as the price of electricity increases. The capital outlay is higher than an electric heater but these should be recouped within one to two years. Other forms of heating such as electric and gas are quicker and less dependent upon the weather but in general a Flotide heat pump if correctly spec'd and installed will be the best choice for most owners.

Each Solar Pod measures 580mm sq, Solar Pod Plus measure 780mm sq, both are easy to connect to any filtration system.
Solar Pod Plus are capable of heating 9,000 litres of water and are designed to perform to a higher standard than the Solar Pods which are capable of heating 4,500 litres of water. Solar Pod Plus are larger in size, are double skinned and contain far more internal coil to produce more heat for your Swimming Pool. Aquachek BromineTest Strips test for not only Free Bromine but also Total Hardness, pH and Total Alkalinity.
Immerse the AquaChek test strip into the hot tub or pool water then remove it immediately. After 15 seconds the reading showing are the levels of your hot tub or pool.
Ensure that you test your spa before each use and your pool at least once a week. When checking your pool test twice, from two points furthest apart. Keeping a log will assist you in understanding how your water reacts to bather loads and weather.

Testing Capabilities
pH - range of 6.2 - 8.4. Hot tub & pool water should be between 7.2 - 7.6
Free Bromine- range of 0 - 10. Hot Tub water needs to be kept between 3ppm - 5ppm & pool water between 1ppm - 3ppm
Total Alkalinity - range of 0 - 240 ppm. Hot Tub & Pool water should be between 80 - 120.
Total Hardness - Monitor hardness levels to protect against corrosion, scale formation, cloudy water or excess foam.
Aquachek BromineTest Strip Application Instructions
1. Dip strip into pool or hot tub water and remove immediately.
2. Hold strip level for 15 seconds, but do not shake the excess water from strip.
3. Compare Free Chlorine, pH, Total Alkalinity and total Hardness results to the colour chart on the back of the bottle.
4. Adjust water levels accordingly using appropriate chemicals.
5. Store at room temperature and remember to ensure the cap is put back on tight.
