PRODUCT INFO:

The Air Pillow is a heavy duty inflatable which supports the debris cover from sagging due to rain, snow and other debris collect in the centre. Adding an air pillow to your swimming pool debris cover can increase the life expectancy of your debris cover. The air pillow was designed to fit under the winter cover to eradicate water build up on the covers surface.

At World of Pools we would recommend purchasing an air pillow on any tarpaulin debris cover as these swimming pool covers are not porous and can collect a heavy load on the surface throughout the winter. Not only does this keep to cover intact it also helps prevents the pool water from freezing with its buoyancy in the centre of the pool.

Guidelines

Make sure pool water level below the skimmer mouth, inflate air pillow and position the pillow in the centre of your pool.

Place the above ground debris cover over the air pillow to form a pyramid like shape, letting the cover fall into the pool around the circumference of the air pillow and overlap the cover over the top rail.

 

Note: Blowing and flapping can cause a great deal of strain and damage to the pool cover. If you can not make the cover overlap the top rail until it reaches the outside of the wall we would suggest covering up any opening between the cover and wall.

The Air Pillow is 1.2 x 1.52 when inflated. Please only inflate air pillow approx. 50%

LED lights are replacing Halogen because of the cheap running cost and the quality of LED compared to Halogen. The LED are far brighter than halogen and over the past year new LED lights have come into the swimming pool market which are even more brighter than previous. Installing an LED light does not require major work or involve high installation costs. The Seamaid LED lighting system requires no tools to fit to your pool structure! Ultimately, sizing the lighting for a pool is down to the personnal preferences of the individual. What may be suitable for one may not be for the another! You need to decide what type of lighting is required i.e. subtle, harmonised coloured lighting using RGB lenses or the more traditional white lighting. Surround pool lighting should also be taken into consideration.

As an example for a 10 x 5m pool we would recommend that 2 x LED lights (one per 25sqm) are installed (on opposite sides) distributed equally along the length of the pool.

    As the Orbis and other Rotospa ranges have increased in popularity in the UK, due to the ease of installation, high standard of workmanship, quality of components, bourne out by the "What Spa 2016" award, we have been able to upgrade the hot tubs while improving the whole buying and installation process of the hot tubs too, to a level not normally associated with hot tubs of this price.

    New For 2017 The Rotospa Orbis will now include an Ozonator, Delivery, Installation & Chrome Jets.

    The two things you will need to do prior to delivery are to ensure that the Orbis will fit through access points, whether doorways or side access, (dont forget the hot tub doesn't bend) and have an electrician install a Commando socket, connected to a suitable power supply with the correct breaker. We will send you a "pre-delivery" checklist to help you through this process.

    If you cannot get an electrician to install the Commando socket before the delivery date, but can't wait to use the hot tub, then we can offer an RCD Plug extension with a total of 5 metres of cable, to allow you to enjoy the hot tub until the electrician fits the hardwired connection.

    Rotospa engineers will then deliver and install the Orbis hot tub for you.

      The Garden Pac Invertech Heat Pumps takes inverter heat pump technology to the next level. Making them Super Quiet and Super Efficient. Each Heat Pump also comes with a Wi-Fi connection, controlled using a Smart Phone App.

      Each Garden Pac Heat Pump has a Twin-Rotary Mitsubishi DC Inverter Compressor. This innovative technology is based on the "Twin Mechanism" solution where two rotors work in sync to reduce the shaking, found in all heat pumps caused by the compressor, by balancing the tork, along with a DC brushless fan motor, with low noise and very low power usage. This has the benefits of not only an exceptionally quiet operation but also extremely high efficiency. 

      As in the previous incarnation of the Garden Pac Invertech Heat Pump the unit will operate down to -7 degrees, although heat output will obviously be restricted at this temperature. During the main Summer months with an air temperature of  26° C, the Garden Pac can offer a COP of up to 15.

      The Garden Pac Invertech heat pump will be able to offer you a 12 Month  Swimming Season or just an Extended Season swimming pool heating system. It is all dependant on the sizing of the Heat Pump. So, if you require an Ultra Quiet, Super-Efficient heat pump for all year round use or only to extend the Summer season call us to help you decide which Garden Pac Invertech is best suited for your needs.

      As a Swimming Pool Heat Pump should be a long term investment it is important to not only look at the price but also the quality. Although the Garden Pac Inverter Heat Pump is dearer than standard heat pumps it is cheaper than its comparable Inverter models with the same technology. Some Inverter heat pumps are "stepped" variable speeds, but the Garden Pac is a complete variable speed, offering the quietest and most efficient performance. You will want your Heat Pump to last a long time, so it makes sense to buy one that is at the forefront of technology when you do. 

      The Garden Pac Invertech Inverter Heat Pump functions in temperatures as low as -7° Celsius, but as with all heat pumps they operate most efficiently when the air temperature is above 15° Celsius, providing a cop of up to 15 when the air temperature is at a balmy 26° Celsius. It is important to remember that the Garden Pac will draw the warm ambient air temperature from the reverse of the unit and blow the cold waste air horizontally from its fan. This means the Heat Pump requires a reasonable amount of space around it.  We would recommend a minimum of 500mm around the back, 750mm sides and at least 3 metres to the front. The Garden Pac should not be enclosed in a shed or other structure restricting air-flow to and away from the unit. 

      The Inverter Garden Pac Heat Pumps come with a Green ABS cabinet, not only to protect it all year round from the UK weather conditions but also to blend into the garden area, the free of charge winter cover also comes in green so the Garden Pac will be hidden all year round.

      You may not require your pool heated in low temperatures but having a heat pump that will not freeze up or cut off at 10° or 5° degrees can be a huge benefit, as April and October mornings may be a lot cooler, even though you may not be using your pool you will still need to heat it to be able to use your pool in the afternoons when it is sunny and warm.

          1. Check and Double Check: It’s is vital to check that all levels and measurements are correct before positioning your Doughboy Liner. The cove is a vital structural element that prevents water pressure from forcing the liner out under the bottom rail. So please be sure that cove is installed correctly by manufactures guidelines.
          2. Seam Positioning: Check the pool floor (area inside the walls) for levelness. Fill in all depressions and remove any stones or sharp object from floor. Place the Doughboy liner on the top of top rail, the liner should have overhanging the outside wall by 12” inches. Hold end and unroll liner down middle of pool as you would carpet, do not place liner seam over skimmer or return fitting openings.
          3. Install Liner: Work in both directions from the point where is already overhanging, unfold Doughboy liner, drape over the top rail and down the sides approximately 24” inches. The liner should be barely above the pool floor in the centre only. Remember that the centre seam or centre of the Doughboy Plain Blue liner should be inside the pool about 12” inches below the top rail. Correct any bunching or pleating conditions in the liner wall. Inspect the liner for open seams if any found return to dealer for prompt replacement of liner.
          4. Fill Pool: With the Doughboy Plain Blue liner in position, hold in place by attaching heavy duty clips over folded cardboard on the underside of each top rail. Carefully cover the end of the garden hose with a sock and tape securely, once this is done place hose inside the pool and start filling. As pool fills the liner will stretch as the water begins to cover the bottom. At this point check the walls for EXTREME tautness, release clips if need be but be sure not to release too much slack as this will cause creases. When releasing the clips you will also need to keep in mind the clips will need to be loosened evenly for whole circumference of the pool (Doughboy advise very little amounts at a time). Once the water reaches past the cove the tension should ease off dramatically and you should have no wrinkles on the floor. Creases in the wall can be removed by re-tauting the Doughboy Plain Blue liner over the wall,
          5. Procedure to attached liner: With the help of two or three people, raise and hold the Doughboy Plain Blue liner up from any three top rail sections. Remove some of the top rail completely and stretch the Doughboy liner over metal wall as tight as possible, then re-erect the top rail with the liner in position and repeat the procedure all the way round the pool (Remembering only taking 2-3 sections off at one time) Once this is completed and the water is at correct level then the water can be turned off and cuts to the liner can be made.

          These Doughboy Replacement Liners are all patterned overlap liners which are stretched into place, this can be a difficult task to do so please follow the instructions below.

           

          1. Check and Double Check: It’s is vital to check that all levels and measurements are correct before positioning your Doughboy Liner. The cove is a vital structural element that prevents water pressure from forcing the liner out under the bottom rail. So please be sure that cove is installed correctly by manufactures guidelines.
          2. Seam Positioning: Check the pool floor (area inside the walls) for levelness. Fill in all depressions and remove any stones or sharp object from floor. Place the Doughboy liner on the top of top rail, the liner should have overhanging the outside wall by 12” inches.             Easy Drain Plus is an easy but effective way of draining excess water from around your swimming pool, spa or shower area. It comes in 3 metre lengths and can be cut to any size sections, making it very easy to install and adaptable to most applications. Each section has a removable lid, so when it comes to cleaning and maintenance work around the pool area it is very straight forward.
