Most other models including the Hydropro range calculate their output at 27 degrees which means their actual output at 15 degrees is dramatically less, as an example the Hydropro Inverter 17 and Heatseeker Inverter 12.5 produce approximately the same heat at 15 degrees Celsius. An integral fan draws air across an evaporator, heat from the airflow is captured by the refrigerant flowing through the evaporator. Having extracted the heat from the air, the refrigerant is condensed and its heat then transferred to the passing pool water via the HeatSeekers heat exchanger.

Heat pump technology is reliable, environmentally friendly and extremely cost effective.

This sizing chart assumes that a pool is being heated from May to September, the desired pool temperature is 29 degrees C, the ambient air temperature is not less than 15OC and a heat retention cover is used. Although the HSI Range remains efficient down to 7 degrees C.

The constant input of 'background' chlorination will reduce the risk of your pool becoming affected with algae or bacterial infection. Each 5-Buoy dispenser contains 1.66kg of Multifunctional Chlorine

      Place the 5-Buoy in the deep end of the pool with narrow end downwards. Hold it partly immersed to exclude air, and ensure there is free water flow through the cartridge. Never submerge the blue buoyancy compartment.

      Make sure the 5Buoy is floating vertically. With liner pools keep away from sides to avoid bleaching.

          HTH Blackal Shock Algicide is a complex, high dose Copper Based Algicide. It is specifically designed to destroy chlorine resistant algae, such as Black Algae, Mustard Algae and Pink Algae, without using a chlorine shock treatment. HTH Blackal Shock Algicide is the most effective pool protection from algae that other Brands of swimming pool algicide can not compare to.

          If you have an algae bloom and shocking your pool has not killed the algae, you may have a chlorine resistant strain of algae in your pool. If this is the case you will need to use HTH Blackal Shock Algicide.  Before using HTH Blackal Shock Algicide wait 48 hours after the last shock treatment was added.

           

          HTH Blackal Shock Algicide Instructions for use in the event of chlorine resistant algae bloom:

          • Measure the pH and if necessary, adjust it to between 7.0 -7.4
          • Brush the walls and floor where the algae has developed.
          • Pour 250ml per 25m3 of water by distributing it directly into the pool with the filtration running.
          • Let the filtration run 24 hours a day until the algae is eliminated.
          • If necessary, remove the algae debris deposited on the pool floor, vacuuming directly to waste.
          • In the case of very cloudy water, after Algae has been destroyed, carry out a floc treatment.

In order for HTH Clarishock to work your filtration must be running. If debris collects on pool floor, vacuum to waste. Regularly check filter pressure and backwash if required.                 HTH pH Minus Micro-Balls 5kg comes in a 5kg container. Depending on the how it is used to dose your swimming pool or hot tub, HTH pH Minus Micro-Balls 5kg will lower either the pH or the Total Alkalinity in the water. High pH will cause cloudy water and can be a factor in scale formation. High pH may also reduce the sanitisation effectiveness of chlorine. Swimming Pool & Hot Tub water with a high alkalinity reading will be difficult to lower the pH as any chemicals designed to lower pH will automatically will be used up by the buffering action of the alkalinity.

                Instructions To Correct High pH Levels in Swimming Pools or Hot Tubs using HTH pH Minus Micro-Balls 5kg

                Test your pool water using your prefered testing method. If higher than 7.6 you will need to lower it

                With the pumps and filtration running, sprinkle the amount suggested on the label of HTH pH Minus Micro-Balls 5kg evenly around the pool, avoiding the skimmer areas. Do not dose more than 500g at any one time. If more than 500g is required repeat the process after 24 hours.

                Leave the filtration running and re-check the pH levels after 24 hours. If required redose with HTH pH Minus Micro-Balls 5kg

                Instructions To Correct High Alkalinity Levels in Swimming Pools or Hot Tubs using HTH pH Minus Micro-Balls 5kg

                Calculate your pool water volume, if in doubt call us and we can advise you.

                Test your pool water using your preferred testing method. If the Total Alkalinity reading is higher than 150 mg/l (ppm) you will need to lower it.

                With the Pump & Filtration OFF pour 1kg, in 200g increments, into one area at the deepest end of the pool, away from the skimmers. Each 1 kg dose should reduce the Alkalinity levels by 10-20 mg/l  (ppm)

                After 24 hours re-test the swimming pool or hot tub and if the Total Alkalinity reading is still above 150 ppm then repeat the dose until the level is correct.

                  HTH Super Kleral Algaecide 3-in-1 Multi-Functional Algicide can be used as a "One-Dose" Summer Algaecide or a "One Dose" Winter Algicide. HTH Super Kleral is a Non-Copper Algicide used to both prevent or Kill Algae. 

                  HTH Super Kleral Algicides are based in Polymerised Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (Polyquat), are non-foaming so can be used in swim spas, too, as well as having 15% active concentration level, which is 50% more than other algicides. HTH Super Kleral Algicide will not affect the pH level of pool water, but will work effectively across a huge pH range.
