    Fi-Clor Spa Bromine Granules can be used in conjunction with bromine tablets to boost the bromine levels or as the sole sanatiser. The granules are fast dissolving so can be added straight into the spa water. Fi-Clor Bromine Granules contain 1-bromo 3-chloro 5.5 Demethyl Hydantoin that will produce Hypobromous Acid which will sanitise the hot tub or pool. When testing for it use a tester that will show Total Bromine

    Fi-Clor Bromine Granules Guide

    Test your Spa water for Total Bromine, if lower than 2ppm you will need to increase it. The desired levels should be between 4-5ppm

    Add Fi-Clor Bromine Granules at a rate of 3g per 1,000 litres to increase the Bromine level by 1ppm. Check the Total Bromine levels regularly especially after using the hot tub / spa. Fi-Clor Non Chlorine Shock or Fi-Clor Spa Oxy-Brite Sachets should be used as a regular shock treatment

    HTH pH Plus Powder will quickly raise the pH levels in your swimming pool or hot tub spa. Having the correct pH levels in your pool and spa water is important as low pH levels can cause eye and skin irritation and cause corrosion and damage pumps, heaters and even the pool finish.

    pH levels show whether the pool or spa water is Acidic or Alkali. Low is Acidic and High is Alkali

    How To Increase pH Levels in Swimming Pools using HTH pH Plus Powder
    To increase pH in pool water by 0.2 Add 300g per 20,000 litres (20m3) 

    With the pumps running sprinkle HTH pH Plus Powder evenly around the pool, but not into the skimmers.

    Leave the filtration running and re-check the pH levels after 24 hours. If required re-dose with HTH pH Plus Powder using the same process.

    Relax Anti-Phosphates will not kill algae, only help stop it growing, so if the pool water already contains algae, remove it using a shock treatment. When there is no more algae present follow the comprehensive instructions on the Anti Phosphates bottle.
