Water pH of 7.0 - Chlorine in your pool is around 75% efficient.
Water pH of 7.5 - Chlorine in your pool is around 47% efficient

Pool Tiger was designed to harness an all-natural process known as Hydrodynamic Cavitation. In our device this process relies solely on the flow of water as driven by the pool pump.

After 24 hours re-test the swimming pool or hot tub and if the Total Alkalinity reading is still above 150 ppm then repeat the dose until the level is correct.

1. Dip strip into pool or hot tub water and remove immediately.
2. Hold strip level for 15 seconds, but do not shake the excess water from strip.
3. Compare Free Chlorine, pH, Total Alkalinity and Cyanuric Acid results to the colour chart on the back of the bottle.
4. Adjust water levels accordingly using appropriate chemicals.

Fi-Clor Spa pH & Alkalinity Reducer 2kg is an essential product if you need to reduce the pH and Alkalinty levels in your spa. It is important to check the water balance at least twice a week and adjust accordingly. If you have a high pH above 7.6 you should use Fi-Clor pH and Alkalinity reducer to take the pH and alkalinity to the correct level.

The 2kg container comes with a handy scoop and the Fi-clor granules do not need to be pre dissolved so this product is easy to use and is fast acting. The Granules are rapid dissolving for fast pH adjustment

Take an accurate reading of the free chlorine level or available bromine to discover the amount of sanitiser that needs to be removed from the pool or hot tub.

To reduce CHLORINE level, the dosing rate is 7gms of Fi-Clor Chlorine / Bromine Reducer per 1m³ (1,000 litres / 220 gallons) of water for every 1mg/l (ppm) of chlorine to be reduced. For the fair sized swimming pool of 50m³ (50,000 litres / 11,000 gallons), 350gof the product will reduce the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm)

To reduce the BROMINE level, the dose rate is 3gms of Fi-Clor Chlorine / Bromine Reducer per 1m³ (1,000 litres / 220 gallons) of water for every 1mg/l (ppm) of bromine to be reduced. For an average sized hot tub of 1.5m³ (1,500 litres / 330 gallons), 4.5g of the product will reduce the bromine level by 1mg/l (ppm).

To achieve the best results, it is advised to  distribute the product evenly around the pool or hot tub. Leave at least 2 hours before re-testing and making any further changes to the water if required.

It is very important to under-dose rather than over-dose, as too much Fi-Clor Chlorine & Bromine Reducer can produce a chlorine / bromine demand that may cause overdosing again.

These are high strength slow dissolving tablets, they take 2-3 days to dissolve in a hot tub and 3-5 days in a colder swimming pool. If they dissolved too quickly the chlorine level would become too high and hard to control.
