It is good practise to shock the pool at the start of the swimming season using Fi- Clor Superfast Shock

Fi Clor Hygiene Effervescent Tablets For Use In Paddling Pools

Fi-Clor Hygiene Tablets are to be used to sanitise and protect  bathers in "fill and empty" paddling pools. One Effervescent tablet is sufficient to treat 300 litres (66 gallons) of paddling pool water. Dissolve the Fi-Clor Hygiene Effervescent tablets in a clean plastic bucket of water then pour this into the paddling pool.

Paddling Pools should be emptied and refilled every few days.
