        Walu Deck is a Retractable Timber Hot Tub & Swim Spa Safety Cover.

        Allowing you to make the most of the space around and over your Hot Tub or Swim Spa the Walu Deck Mobile safety cover will also keep your family safe when the Modular Deck system is rolled back over the spa.

        Supporting 150kg/m2 the Walu Deck Retractable Wooden Swim Spa & Hot Tub Cover is designed for family living, using the area for play or to east or relax on, rather than a full scale party. Quick & easy to install, the Wall deck is the ideal finish to a pool area, where safety and functionality is important. No electrical connections means that the install is quick and the everyday removal and re-positioning of the Walu Deck Cover is carried out manually, meaning no concerns of the power supply failing. The Manual Locking Mechanism means the cover passes the very strict French NF P 90-308 Safety tests, the most stringent in Europe.

        As the Walu Deck Mobile Safety Deck is supplied in a modular system it can be installed on most domestic swimming pool shapes and sizes as long as there is enough solid, level ground around the pool. The decking is supported on a strong, aluminium frame that rolls on tracks using stainless steel needle bearings. The Walu Deck will close tightly, fasten with "Quick Click" clasps then lock in place against the track, providing a sturdy and safe platform.

        The massive flexibility in use that the Walu Deck Retractable Mobile Wooden safety Deck has makes it far more suitable for every day use when compared to a regular Swim Spa 7 Hot Tub cover. The smallest spa suitable is 5m x 2.5m, using a deck size of 6m x 3m and the largest possible is a 12m x 5m swim spa with a Walu Deck size of 13m x 6m. The Deck can be built so that it opens on the length or width of your swimming pool. opening all on one side or half on each. View the images in the gallery to see example layouts.

         

        The Walu Deck will reduce Evaporation and keep heat in as well as helping to reduce Algae growth. This is possible as below the Hardwood Deck there is a Membrane that fulfills these three things.

        Install day must be a warm sunny day to replace your liner with very little wind, the hotter it is the easier the installation will be.

        Leave your new liner in a conservatory or in a very warm spot to get the boxed liner as warm as possible before unpacking. This will ensure flexibility in the liner when it comes to install day

        Prepare your pool Base very carefully, sweeping the pool floor to remove all loose debris and sharp object which may push through. 

        Install your pool floor felt and foam walls if you have chosen that optional extra, the floor felt will protect your liner from abrasive damage from the floor of your pool, and give a soft feel underfoot. It will also soften any sudden impact with the pool floor.

        Start at the Deep End and secure the liner bead into the linerlock. Work your way round the pool, if two people go in opposite directions. 

        Once the liner is fully fitted into the liner lock check how the liner is hanging and adjust where needed. at this stage if possible "Set" your liner with a pool liner vacuum. This will pull the liner against the pool walls and floor, ensuring there are no creases when filling. At this stage fit main drain.

        Once any wrinkles are removed start filling the pool. As the pool water rises fit the returns and skimmers as the the water reaches just below each fitting. This will allow the liner to have fully stretched in and reduce any risks of leaks.

        Please note that all warranty claims on liners are only valid if any fault is found on a manufactured seam. All the liners are reverse inflated when manufactured to ensure water tightness, so no warranty can be accepted for holed liners.

        Liner Installation Instructions

        Install day must be a warm sunny day to replace your liner with very little wind, the hotter it is the easier the installation will be.

        Leave your new liner in a conservatory or in a very warm spot to get the boxed liner as warm as possible before unpacking. This will ensure flexibility in the liner when it comes to install day

        Prepare your pool Base very carefully, sweeping the pool floor to remove all loose debris and sharp object which may push through. 

        Install your pool floor felt and foam walls if you have chosen that optional extra, the floor felt will protect your liner from abrasive damage from the floor of your pool, and give a soft feel underfoot. It will also soften any sudden impact with the pool floor.

        Start at the Deep End and secure the liner bead into the linerlock. Work your way round the pool, if two people go in opposite directions.
