You can add winter chemicals into the pool to keep the water free from algae but if leaves are able to get in, sink to the bottom and start to rot you will potentially have a algae issue come spring, which can eventually stain the liner if left over the winter. These round above ground pool debris covers are very simple to take on and off your pool with just a simple ratchet system and nylon cord which secures tightly to the side of the pool. When installing a debris cover, an air pillow would be strongly recommended to keep the weight and strain off the centre of the cover which can build up during the winter.

PRODUCT INFO:

The Air Pillow is a heavy duty inflatable which supports the debris cover from sagging due to rain, snow and other debris collect in the centre. Adding an air pillow to your swimming pool debris cover can increase the life expectancy of your debris cover. The air pillow was designed to fit under the winter cover to eradicate water build up on the covers surface.

At World of Pools we would recommend purchasing an air pillow on any tarpaulin debris cover as these swimming pool covers are not porous and can collect a heavy load on the surface throughout the winter. Not only does this keep to cover intact it also helps prevents the pool water from freezing with its buoyancy in the centre of the pool.

Guidelines

Make sure pool water level below the skimmer mouth, inflate air pillow and position the pillow in the centre of your pool.

Place the above ground debris cover over the air pillow to form a pyramid like shape, letting the cover fall into the pool around the circumference of the air pillow and overlap the cover over the top rail.

 

Note: Blowing and flapping can cause a great deal of strain and damage to the pool cover. If you can not make the cover overlap the top rail until it reaches the outside of the wall we would suggest covering up any opening between the cover and wall.

The Air Pillow is 1.2 x 1.52 when inflated. Please only inflate air pillow approx. 50%

Athena Sun Domes are a solar heating system that will heat your pool and save you a small fortune in heating costs. These heaters can be installed on above ground and inground pools as a single heating source or to supplement a current heating system. The Athena Solar Heating Pods are especially effective on above ground pools such as our wooden and doughboy pools and summer pools such as Intex and Bestway. Just use the sizing chart below to chose the right number of domes for your pool, if you opt for more than the required amount you will see a significant difference in pool temperature. Each Athena Dome will heat up to 7,500lt, this compared to just 4,500lts with the solar pods.

Heating calculations are based on continuous sun exposure for 10 hours, which should increase the water temperature, by the following:

One heater for 2,000lt +4c, 4,000lt +2.4c, 7,500lt +1.3c

Two heaters for 2,000lt +6c, 4,000lt +3.6c, 7,500lt +2.5c, 10,000lt +1.8c

Three heaters for 4,000lt +5.4c, 7,500lt +3.6c, 10,000lt +2.7c, 15,000lt +1.7c

The more domes you add the more heat you will produce, adding one or two more can make a significant difference to your water tempreture.

The Blue Lagoon UV-C Salt Water is designed for salt and seawater pools (salt electrolysis). Thanks to the white PVC housing the salt has no corrosive influence. The device has a built-in high-frequency transformer. This transformer reduces current fluctuations and thus protects the lamp.

With the Blue Lagoon UV-C Salt Water you can disinfect water in an efficient and safe way for improved water quality. The UV-C output is at least 80 % after 9000 hours of operation. Thanks to the mount on the bottom, the lamp can be flexibly mounted and swivelled to 360°. PRODUCT INFO:

Replacement Boulder Tiled Pattern Overlap Liners by Swimline are 16 thou on the floor & walls, to ensure a professional installation only install the liner on a warm and dry day as these are stretched into place to prevent creases. These liners are suitable for 48” and 52” wall heights and due to the nature of this product these are non-returnable so please be sure you have measured your pool correctly before placing an order.

The Overlap liner is probably the least expensive liner you can buy on the market but if installed correctly can look as good as any other, please ensure all preparation works are carried out to manufactures guidelines as any imperfections will be shown once you start filling with water. Here are a few liner installation guidelines that we would strongly suggest following 

Liner Installation Instructions

Install day must be a warm sunny day to replace your liner with very little wind, the hotter it is the easier the installation will be.

Leave your new liner in a conservatory or in a very warm spot to get the boxed liner as warm as possible before unpacking. This will ensure flexibility in the liner when it comes to install day

Prepare your pool Base very carefully, sweeping the pool floor to remove all loose debris and sharp object which may push through. Always form a cove or install your Easy Cove at the bottom of the pool wall. The coving is a vital part in ensuring a lock is formed at the bottom of your pool. An inadequate cove will result in liner pushing underneath the wall causing the liner to fail.

Install your pool floor felt and foam walls if you have chosen that optional extra, the floor felt will protect your liner from abrasive damage from the floor of your pool, and give a soft feel underfoot. It will also soften any sudden impact with the pool floor.

When overlapping your liner be careful not to drag it over any sharp edges to puncture the liner and make sure the overlap is even all the way round. Once you have overlapped it so much aim to have the liner 3” to 6” off the ground before filling and clamp down with heavy duty pegs. 

Start filling the pool, at this stage there should be 1 person inside the pool trying to move out any excess liner material to the edges and ensuring they control the helpers outside the pool to release or hold the liner as necessary.

Whilst filling do not be tempted to drop to much liner in at once as creases will not be able to be pulled out due to the weight of the water. Drop liner in small and even quantities until water level has reached pools walls, at this stage you should not have to drop any more liner in.

These replacement overlap swimming pool Liners are suitable for all sizes of the following pools:
Doughboy, Vouge, Teakwood Discovery, Equinox , Regatta & Regatta II, Topaz, Reprieve, Oracle, Trevi 205, Summer Days.

These liners have a material thickness of:
Wall - 16 thou thick Virgin Vinyl and Floor - 16 thou thick Virgin Vinyl
This liner fitting is a 2 to 4 man job - please do not try this with 1 person.

Please note that all warranty claims on liners are only valid if any fault is found on a manufactured seam. All the liners are reverse inflated when manufactured to ensure water tightness, so no warranty can be accepted for holed liners.
