Certikin 6mm Heat Retention Cover - At world of pools we are able to supply a wide range of commercial swimming covers to commercial swimming pools. Installing the Thermalux 6mm Foam Commercial Swimming pool cover has huge benefits to running cost such as water treatment costs by reduce humidity and condensation saving even more money by reducing the time that your Dehumidification Equipment needs to run in the pool building.

Certikin foam heat retention covers are manufactured from close cell PE foam which is supplied exclusively to Certikin in the UK. Our 6mm Thermalux is suitable for all heat retention purposes and benefits from a clear laminated underside and a strong woven polyethylene top coat making it extremely hard wearing. The desity of the material helps to keep light penetration to a minimum and therefore reduce algae growth. Suitable for swimming pools running up to 30degC. Due to the nature of this material and the manufacturing process some creasing of the top coat can be present and the cover may not lie perfectly flat - covers are rolled, not folded, for dispatch in order to eliminate these issues where possible. Unless requested at the time of order, all 6mm covers will be made approximately 30mm narrower than the pool width.

Hemming is not available and due to the density of the material this cover is not suitable for using reel systems and therefore towing systems are not available.

    Slidelock Reel from Plastica is a premium reel system made from stainless steel. The Slidelock Reel now comes with an option to make this a semi-automatic reel with a motorised system. The motor is powered by a Lithium battery that provides long life. A charger is also included. There are no wires required and the system comes with a remote control.

    The reel system has an upgrade option of a solar powered panel. There are two sizes for the slidelock reel and it is important you have the correct size. the Slidelock Reel is ideal for the heavier solar covers such as Midas 500 or Sol Guard 500 and the motorised system will make a significant difference in operating the solar cover on you swimming pool

Made from a 400 micron Solar Bubble with a tough, tear resistant woven surface the SolarWeave Heat Retention Cover is particularly suitable for outdoor Commercial or Semi-Commercial pools where the need for heat retention is high, but allowing the benefit of Solar heat gain that other heat retention covers cannot supply. 

    The Solar Weave Swimming Pool Heat Retention Cover can be used all the the time the pool is open. If your pool is open 12 months of the year and you require a heat retention cover that will work for you all year round then the Solar Weave cover is for you.

    Water Tubes are used to secure the debris cover without the use of fixings. There are three types of water tubes available, the blue tubes come in 3ft 6" tubes and 7ft 6" tues and there is a Black double bag which is the same size in terms of length and width as the Blue 7ft 6"

    Fabrico Sun Dome pool enclosures are easy to use pool enclosures, and can be used with many types of Above Ground and Inground Swimming Pools. Benefits of the Fabrico Sun Dome are:


    ۬1) Converts your pool into an indoor/outdoor pool - great to extend use throughout the seasons
    ۬2) Heats water and air temperature using solar power, meaning it is cost effective.
    ۬3) Protects your pool from the weather which reduces the need for pool maintenance.


    ۬ The Fabrico Sun Dome enclosure is a heavy 12-gauge vinyl pool enclosure that is supported by a series of aluminum tubes. The crystal clear cover is heat-sealed to fit the tubes, based on the pool specifications, to provide a tailored fit for every pool size.


    Each pool enclosure has one door opening with two heavy duty two sided nylon zippers as well as one or more fibre glass screened window flaps/openings for flow-thru ventilation. Both doors and windows come with vinyl tabs to hold the flaps in place.


    The bottom edge of the enclosure is 24-gauge (double thickness) and has a series of grommets. Neoprene shock cords are then attached to the grommets and hooked onto the base of the dome. This system ensures that the vinyl enclosure is held securely over the pool framework - making the Sun Dome an extra strong framework.


    Assuming that you own a power drill, measuring tape & a screwdriver, along with a friendly neighbour, installation takes between 2-3 hours for an Above Ground Pool. There is no need to pay for a professional tradesman to install this product. Once assembled, Fabrico Sun Domes are very easy to take down and put up again!


    Fabrico Sun Domes offer a one year warranty for defects in material or workmanship. The average life of the Fabrico Sun Dome vinyl is approximately five years if installed in Europe.

    The Fabrico Sun Dome for doughboy is a heavy 12-gauge vinyl pool enclosure that is supported by a series of aluminium tubes. The dome cover is heat-sealed to fit the tubes, based on the specifications, to provide a tailored fit for every pool size. The Fabrico Domes are made in the USA, so please allow two to three weeks for delivery

    Each fabrico enclosure has one door opening with two heavy duty two sided nylon zippers as well as one or more fibreglass screened window flaps/openings for flow-thru ventilation. Both doors and windows come with vinyl tabs to hold the flaps in place.

    The bottom edge of the fabrico enclosure is 24-gauge (double thickness) and has a series of grommets. Neoprene shock cords are then attachedto the grommets and hooked onto the base of the dome. This system ensures that the vinyl enclosure is held securely over the doughboy pool framework - making the fabrico sun dome an extra strong framework.

    Once assembled, Fabrico Sun Domes are very easy to take down and put up again!
