When the swimming season has finished and you are ready to close your swimming pool The 2Kg Swimming Pool Winter Chemical Doser can be used to help keep your pool crystal clear all Winter long.
Correct the pH level to 7.2 and add the correct dose of shock chlorine. 24 Hours later add the required amount of winteriser algicide.
The Winter Chemical Dosing Buoy can now be added to the pool to ensure clear water throughout the winter.
The buoy has nodules on the side of the stem with guides for water volume. To Winterise your pool divide your pool volume by 4 and use this calculation to cut the desired number of nodules off. This will allow keep a residual chlorine level in the pool all over winter. Using this method the 2kg Pool Winterising Chemical Buoy should last around 5 - 6 months in a 50,000 litre (12,000 gallon) pool.If the weather is warm, then the chemicals may dissolve quicker, so please check your pool and the Doser in January.
