How A Ball Check Valve Works
As waste water starts to flow through the valve, the ball moves up and out of the stream to allow free passage of any solid matter. When the flow stops, the ball returns under gravity and seals the inlet, preventing reverse flow. The ball rotates randomly during this process to prevent any build up on the ball€™s surface.
